A United States Military base has been attacked in Iraq.
The attacked happened at a US Army base in Erbil, Iraq and included 12 rockets smashing into the complex.
The missiles, likely launched by rebels, were Iranian made ballistic missiles, but despite the attack, no casualties were reported.
Along with the base, a news station run by Kurds was also attacked.
American forces are in a non-combat role in Iraq and according to officials this posture likely provokes those type of attacks.
The military called it “outrageous.”
