Sixty Four Percent of Democrats Want Someone Other Than Biden

A new poll from The New York Time and Sienna College has revealed that 64% of Democrats want someone other than Biden as their candidate for 2024, The Hill reports.

The reasons vary for wanting a new candidate and maybe most surprisingly job performance is not the leader.

33 percent of Democrats want a new candidate because of Biden’s age, while 32 percent sited his job performance.

12 percent want a new candidate overall and 10 percent do not believe Biden is progressive enough.

The poll also revealed that Biden is leading in a matchup against Trump.

If the election were held today 44 percent would vote for Biden and 41 percent would vote for Trump.

The US is heading in the wrong direction and the electorate appears to agree, with 76 percent of respondents feeling way.
