New Report Reveals Federal Government sent Over 2 Billion to Planned Parenthood and Other Pro-Abortion Groups

According to a new government report, Planned Parenthood and other abortion advocacy organizations received nearly $2 billion in federal funding over a three-year period.

A report released on Tuesday by the Government Accountability Office revealed that federal funds totaling $1.89 billion were allocated to various pro-abortion organizations, including those engaged in abortion services, during the three-year period spanning 2019 to 2021.

Over the course of three years, Planned Parenthood received a substantial portion of the funding, a staggering $1.78 billion, despite conducting a mere 1.11 million abortions.

An additional $2.03 million was allocated to the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) in conjunction with the federal funds that were allocated to Planned Parenthood. The global organization collaborates with 150 member associations and operates in 146 distinct nations.

Additionally, the report revealed that a significant portion of the funds allocated to Planned Parenthood were “illegally” withdrawn from the Paycheck Protection Program, which was designed to assist small businesses in maintaining employee employment during the government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In January 2022, 141 Republican members of Congress joined Senator Marsha Blackburn in her demand that the GAO generate a report elucidating the extent of federal funding allocated to abortion advocacy organizations.
