Roseanne Barr Returns With New Stand Up Special After Being Canceled for Conservative Views

Roseanne Barr, who is reportedly making a comeback on the comedy stage with a new anti-woke TV special.

Barr was sacked from the 2018 remake of her successful comedy “Roseanne,” which had the biggest ratings for a new TV series in years, after tweeting about senior Obama White House advisor Valerie Jarrett.

Barr’s new show is entitled “Roseanne Barr: Cancel This!,”and is her first new stand up special in almost two decades.

In the special Barr reportedly takes aim at a variety of woke orthodoxies, sparing none of them.

Roseanne first rose to fame in the late 1980s with the debut of her hit television show, “Roseanne.” The groundbreaking sitcom followed the daily struggles of a working-class family and quickly became one of the most watched programs on television. Roseanne’s portrayal of the outspoken and quick-witted Roseanne Conner endeared her to millions of fans

In addition to her work on “Roseanne,” Barr has also appeared in numerous films and television shows, including “She-Devil,” “Home on the Range,” and “The Office.” She has also been a frequent performer on talk shows and comedy venues, where she is known for her irreverent sense of humor and quick wit.

Aside from her work as an actress, Barr is also a successful writer and producer, having co-created the television shows “Roseanne” and “The Roseanne Show.”
