How Did Trump’s Endorsed Candidates Fair?

Republican primaries took place in Arizona, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, and Washington on Tuesday testing the weight of the Trump GOP Primary endorsement.

In Missouri, sitting Attorney General Eric Schmitt came out the winner in a crowded Senate field, which included former Gov. Eric Greitens, Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler, and Congressman Billy Long. Trump issued a cunning blanket endorsement of “Eric” without specifying which Eric.

In Arizona, Trump put his weight behind Blake Masters for US Senate who won in a masterful fashion.

His candidate for Governor, former TV newsperson Kari Lake is currently leading by 2% but the race remains to close to call.

He also endorsed State Senator Mark Finchem who earned the Republican nod for Secretary of State.

In Michigan, Trump pulled off two notable victories. Republican Tudor Dixon, a businesswoman and political pundit won the nomination for Governor.

Congressman Peter Meijer, who voted to impeach then-President Trump, was narrowly defeated by John Gibbs. Notably, The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee put some of its cash to work to put Gibbs over the finish line due to their calculation Gibbs would be easier to beat in November than Meijer.

In the State of Kansas, Attorney General Derek Schmidt — who earned Trump’s endorsement — won his primary for Governor in a landslide.

Lastly, in Missouri, sitting Attorney General Eric Schmitt came out the winner in a crowded Senate field, which included former Gov. Eric Greitens, Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler, and Congressman Billy Long. Trump issued a cunning blanket endorsement of “Eric” without specifying which Eric.
