Biden Offers Nonsensical Response when Interviewer Brings up Potential Criminal Charges Against Hunter

President Biden appeared to offer a strange and seemingly nonsensical answer when CNN’s Jake Tapper brought up the possibility that the President’s son Hunter may soon face criminal charges during a recent interview.

Rumors of potential criminal charges against Hunter have gone into overdrive in recent days after the Washington Post reported that sources within the FBI stated that they believe there is enough evidence to charge the troubled Biden with several different crimes.

The president was the first guest on the first episode of CNN Tonight with Jake Tapper, fielding questions on a wide range of issues.

Near the end of the discussion, Tapper asked the president about the Hunter story.

During the interview Tapper asked Biden how he “personally and politically” was reacting to the news that Hunter may be charged, to which Biden responded:

“Well, first of all, I’m proud of my son. This is a kid who got, not a kid — he’s a grown man. He got hooked on — like many families have had happen, hooked on drugs. He’s overcome that. He’s established a new life.” Biden said.

“He is — I’m confident that he is — what he says and does are consistent with what happens. And for example, he wrote a book about his problems and was straightforward about it. I’m proud of him. He came along and said, by the way, this thing about a gun — I didn’t know anything about it. But turns out that when he made application to purchase a gun, what happened was he say (ph) — I guess you get asked — I don’t guess, you get asked a question, are you on drugs, or do use drugs? He said no. And he wrote about saying no…” Biden continued.

The incident may seem to potentially vindicate many of the President’s conservative critics, who have long claimed that Biden’s mental faculties are quickly declining as he enters his ninth decade of life.
