Trump Hits Key Swing State With Massive Rally In Wake of Conviction

In his inaugural campaign rally since his conviction in the New York hush money case, former President Donald Trump captivated thousands of supporters during recent event in Las Vegas.

On Sunday, he informed prospective voters that Nevada would be a significant factor in the 2024 election.

Trump’s conviction on 34 felony charges of falsifying business documents last week appeared to have had no impact on rallygoers.

In the early morning, Trump supporters endured 100-degree humidity and formed a line at Sunset Park to witness the presumptive Republican presidential nominee.

The presumed Republican nominee also responded to Biden’s most recent executive order, which addressed illegal immigration at the southern frontier.

He characterized the order as pro-invasion, pro-child trafficking, pro-women trafficking, pro-human trafficking, and pro-drug dealers.

“[Illegal immigrants] are totally destroying our black population; they’re totally destroying our Hispanic population. And you know what else they’re destroying? … They’re killing unions.” Trump said.

“They’ve worked long to get their salaries up a little bit; they’re not able to do it. Virtually 100% of all net new jobs under Biden have also gone to illegal aliens.” he added.

Trump was defeated by Hillary Clinton by just over two percentage points in 2016, and Biden has won the state by a similar margin in 2020.

Nevada has gone blue in each of the elections that have featured Trump on the ballot. Trump maintains a substantial advantage over Biden in the state for the 2024 election, as indicated by the most recent polling data.
