Former AG Bill Barr Expresses Dissatisfaction with Trump vs. Biden Matchup

Former Attorney General Bill Barr will now reportedly endorse Donald Trump in the next November election, despite previously characterizing his behavior as akin to playing a dangerous game of chance.

During a Wednesday interview on America’s Newsroom, co-anchor Bill Hemmer specifically inquired about Barr’s allegiance in the upcoming 2024 presidential election, with the major focus of the discussion being the fentanyl issue.

Barr and Trump have experienced a considerable number of conflicts throughout Barr’s time in the Trump administration.

“I’ve said all along given two bad choices, I think it’s my duty to pick the person I think would do the least harm to the country and in my mind that’s — I will vote the Republican ticket. I will support the Republican ticket,” Barr said.

“I think the real danger to the country, the real danger to democracy, as I say, is the progressive agenda and I’ve said Trump may be playing Russian roulette, but continuation of the Biden administration is national suicide in my opinion,” he continued.

When asked about Trump’s upcoming ‘hush money’ trial however, Barr unequivocally backed Trump.

“It’s obviously political, seven years after he pays hush money to try and come up with this case,” Barr said.
