Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) stated on Friday that legislators like Rep. Matt Rosendale (R-MT) who are vying for re-election gestures toward former President Donald Trump are “nauseating” at the sight of him.
Greene also distributed a CNN report that elaborated on Rosendale’s recent support for Trump.
This endorsement came months after that of Republican Sen. Jon Tester (D-Montana) opponent Tim Sheehy.
“It’s nauseating watching politicians like Rosendale only run to Pres Trump for pictures and beg for endorsement when they want to get elected, but when Pres Trump ask for support they literally throw up their hands and turn their back,” Greene said.
According to a CNN report, Republican leaders are eager to clarify that Sheehy endorsed Trump months in advance, whereas Rosendale did not do so until mid-December.
This was emphasized by the chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), Senator Steve Daines (R-MT), who had previously supported the reelection campaign of the 45th president.
