The presidential campaign of Democrat activist Robert F. Kennedy Jr. reportedly said on Thursday that the candidate had raised $3 million in only three days before to the second-quarter filing deadline.
According to Kennedy’s campaign, it raised an average of $1 million each day from June 28 to 30. For a Democratic contender who is thought to have little chance of defeating President Biden, the three-day total is an astonishing number.
According to the campaign, Kennedy earned more than $6 million in the second quarter and had almost $3 million in cash on hand.
Although Biden is seen as the de facto Democratic nominee, Kennedy has occasionally recorded in the double digits among Biden backers, demonstrating some unexpected strength within electorate.
