Far-Left Protestor Shot by Kyle Rittenhouse Sues for Damages

The man who survived being shot by Kyle Rittenhouse during the 2020 riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin, has now reportedly filed a lawsuit against the 20-year-old as well as a variety of other departments and politicians.

According to Fox News, Gaige Grosskreutz, who was shot in the arm by Rittenhouse after pointing a pistol at the then-teenager, is suing for the alleged mental anguish, humiliation, loss of enjoyment of life, and other pain and suffering on all claims, as well as economic losses and punitive damages.

On February 14, Grosskreutz filed the complaint.

When Grosskreutz testified during Rittenhouse’s trial in 2021, he acknowledged to pointing a pistol at him.

Rittenhouse, who was accused with murder after fatally shooting two men and wounded Grosskreutz, was found not guilty after a controversial trial in November 2021.

On August 25, 2020, at the age of 17, Rittenhouse and others armed with firearms began patrolling downtown Kenosha to guard a used car business from looting and damage during the riots after the police shooting of Jacob Blake, a black man, by a white police officer.

He later would go on to shoot and kill two far-left demonstrators after they attacked him, acts which were determined by a court to have been in self-defense.

Rittenhouse was found not guilty on all counts by a jury.
