Kristi Noem Positioning Herself to Challenge Trump With Ads in GOP Primary States

South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem appears to be positioning herself to be in contention for the GOP presidential nomination in 2024.

Recently, Noem has been running ads in key GOP primary states, Mediaite reports.

The ads, which shared Noem’s story ran in Iowa, New Hampshire and other states according to the report.

In the ads Noem declares that “Freedom runs free. So saddle up!”

A report from The Daily Caller indicated that she ran a total of 9 ads. The additional states she ran the ads in were South Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Florida, and her home state of South Dakota.

The current outlook is a DeSantis versus Trump matchup but neither man has declared.

DeSantis is in a governors race in Florida and may choose to focus on that first.

Trump on the other hand has indicated that he will announce and it could come before the midterms this fall.

Noem has been a close supporter of President Trump, even welcoming him to Mount Rushmore for the 2020 Independence Day celebration.
