Fox’s Larry Kudlow is Working on Budget for GOP Should they Retake the House

Fox host and former Trump administration rockstar Larry Kudlow is lending a big hand to Republicans in Congress.

Kudlow has announced that he is drafting a federal budget that Republicans can use if they retake the House of Representatives in this years’ midterms, Mediaite reports.

Kudlow surely broke a lot of Democrat hearts when he revealed the the budget would include the slashing of a lot of government benefits.

He invoked what Reagan did in the 80’s as his blueprint, telling guest Brian Kilmeade that “Reagan cut domestic spending and raised defense spending… And he cut taxes.”

The report noted:

“What is it – 49% of the country is receiving some type of social spending?” Kilmeade stated. “If you’re gonna cut government spending what are you getting now that you’re gonna be able to live without?”

“That test is going to come because a bunch of us are cooking up a balanced budget proposal when the Republicans take the Congress,” Kudlow responded. “So that test is going to come.”

Kudlow is looking at this as a negotiation. The former businessman and successful National Economic Adviser laid it out plain and simple.

“What is it – 49% of the country is receiving some type of social spending?” Kilmeade stated. “If you’re gonna cut government spending what are you getting now that you’re gonna be able to live without?”

“I will give you lower taxes in return for less government benefits,” Kudlow said. “That’s a trade that can work.”
