China Threatens the United States, Warns Against a Pacific NATO

China has issued fresh threats to the United States promising retaliation if the United States works to develop a Pacific NATO.

China claimed that the security concerns of Ukraine are not at all comparable to the security concerns faced by Taiwan.

The Chinese Communist Party wants to stake its claim to Taiwan and has been threatening a takeover for years.

China is accusing the United States’ Indo-Pacific strategy of wanting to develop Asia’s answer to NATO.

The diplomat from China is railing against expanded U.S. cooperation with Taiwan in an effort to gain more influence over the nation.

Asian nations are seeking closer ties with the United States to counter China, including Japan and Vietnam, who China has current border disputes with.

As China looks to take control of the South China sea, a key world trade route, the need to counter is becoming more apparent and Asian nations are taking notice.
