According to a recent study, a majority of people who supported Biden in the 2020 election reportedly believe that he should participate in presidential debates with other Democrats in 2024.
Seventy-nine percent of eligible voters who supported Biden think that the Democratic Party should host televised primary debates, according to a Redfield & Wilton Strategies survey released on April 30.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the nephew of the late president John F. Kennedy, self-help author Marianne Williamson, and other prominent anti-vaccine activists are challenging Biden for the Democratic candidacy.
The Democratic Party has come under fire for not planning any debates, although since the advent of contemporary presidential debates in the 1970s, neither major party has ever scheduled primary discussions while an incumbent president is running for reelection.
The Redfield & Wilton Strategies survey indicated that 68 percent of eligible voters feel the Democratic Party should host televised debates despite the tradition of not holding debates when an incumbent is running again.
1,500 American citizens who were eligible to vote participated in the survey overall.
In spite of this, the possibility of Democratic Party debates including Biden and his rivals is still quite remote.
