Rep. Lauren Boebert, a Republican from Colorado, reportedly informed her constituents that her eldest son and his partner are expecting a baby boy.
During an event hosted by Mothers for America on Tuesday, the Congresswoman, who is 36 years old, broke the news to the public for the first time, adding that she and her husband Jayson are “so delighted to welcome this new life into our family.”
“I’m going to tell you all for the first time in a public setting, that not only am I a mom of four boys but come April, I will be a gigi to a brand new grandson,” Boebert said during the announcement.
On March 21, 2022, Tyler, the eldest of her four sons, turned 17 years old, as stated in a message that was made on Boebert’s Twitter account.
At the ceremony, Boebert shared her excitement over the impending birth of her grandchild in April.

According to an interview that took place in the year 2020 with the Colorado news outlet The Durango Herald, Boebert gave birth to Tyler when she was 17 years old and a senior in high school.
Because of this, she made the decision to not continue her education. Boebert would later go back to earn her GED in 2020.
