Ben Savage, has reportedly formally begun his campaign to succeed Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., in the United States House of Representatives.
Savage is best known for his role on the famous 90’s sitcom ‘Boy Meets World.’
The 30th Congressional District of California includes a variety of Los Angeles suburbs, including Savage’s hometown of West Hollywood, Burbank, and sections of Pasadena.
Savage rose to prominence in the 1990s as Cory Matthews on “Boy Meets World,” which aired from 1993 to 2000.

Savage, who had reportedly been considering a run and filed paperwork to run as a Democrat in January, made the announcement in a Monday Instagram post, telling followers that as the representative of California’s 30th Congressional District, he would help move the country forward and restore faith in government.
Savage is one of many candidates who’ve already jumped into the race following Schiff’s decision to run for the U.S. Senate seat to replace retiring Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., but is the only one with a clear advantage in national name recognition due to his career in acting.
This won’t be his first experience as a candidate as Savage unsuccessfully ran for a seat on the West Hollywood City Council in 2022.

Adam Schiff deserves a thorough trouncing. I wish Fred success. At the very least, he ain’t no Al Franken.
