Among independent voters, former President Trump is currently leading Vice President Harris, according to a brand new survey.
YouGov’s survey, which was published on Wednesday, revealed that 42% of independent voters intend to vote for Trump in the upcoming November election, while 37% intend to cast their ballot for Harris.
Thirteen percent of independent electors are uncertain about their candidate.
Harris and Trump received virtually all of their support from their respective parties.
Harris received the support of 95% of Democrats, while 91% of Republican electors indicated that they intended to vote for Trump.
Fifty-three percent of independent voters indicated that they would not vote for Harris, while 47 percent indicated that they would contemplate casting their ballot for her.
Out of the total number of independent voters, 55% expressed that they would contemplate voting for Trump, while 45% indicated that they would not.
This survey is conducted in conjunction with Harris’s increasing popularity in other polling surveys.
The margin of error for the YouGov survey is 3.2 percent, and it was conducted from August 25 to 27 among 1,555 individuals.
