In a recent speech, Vice President Kamala Harris strongly condemned Israel’s actions and called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza as the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) gear up to attack Hamas fighters in their final stronghold in the region.
Following the five-month conflict that began on October 7, Harris commented on the violent actions carried out by Islamic terrorists from Hamas and other Palestinian civilians in Israel, resulting in numerous casualties and atrocities.
Addressing a gathering in Selma, Alabama, to mark the 59th Anniversary of ‘Bloody Sunday’, Harris expressed her sorrow over the distressing images from Gaza.
“As I have said many times, too many innocent Palestinians have been killed. And just a few days ago, we saw hungry, desperate people approach aid trucks, simply trying to secure food for their families after weeks of nearly no aid reaching Northern Gaza. And they were met with gunfire and chaos.” Harris said.
