Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) criticized the treatment of Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) and her family by liberals as “cruel” after her son’s arrest.
Following backlash against Boebert, 37, on social media over the arrest of her 18-year-old son Tyler Boebert on multiple felony charges, including theft, Fetterman urged Democrats on Twitter to show “restraint.”
“This is a family in crisis and the recreational cruelty I see on social media needs to be out of bounds. I know the impact this has on children.” Fetterman said.
“I’m calling for restraint because cruelty has substantial collateral damage. We can’t ever forget that they didn’t sign up for this.” he continued.

A police report has identified six victims, which include a three-year-old and a 64-year-old.
Last year, at the age of 17, Boebert revealed that her son was anticipating the arrival of his first child. In January, Jayson Boebert, the ex-husband of Boebert, was arrested after an incident involving him and his son.
