New Poll Shows Democrat Challenger Beating Boebert in Home District

According to a new poll released on Tuesday, Adam Frisch, the Democrat who nearly defeated Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) in the midterm elections last year, now reportedly has a slim edge over the controversial Republican in 2024.

According to a polling memo from Keating Research published by Colorado Politics, Frisch, a former member of the Aspen City Council, has a 2-point advantage over Boebert with 50 percent of likely voters in Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District voting for Frisch and 48 percent voting for Boebert.

According to Keating Research, Frisch has a 17-point lead over Boebert among voters who are not associated with any political party, with 57 percent of respondents supporting Frisch vs 40 percent for Boebert.

Unaffiliated voters are a group that Frisch’s campaign has previously stated it must target in order to defeat Boebert.

Additionally, Frisch leads Boebert by 32 points among Latino voters.

53 percent of voters surveyed said they had a negative opinion of Boebert, while 42 percent said they had a positive opinion of her. With 34% of people seeing Frisch favorably and 26% adversely, he continued to enjoy high favorability.

The district supported former President Trump in 2020 by an 8-point edge, according to the report, which also noted an 8-point Republican registration advantage.

In the 2022 midterm elections, Frisch’s opposition to Boebert was defeated by 546 votes, or less than 0.5 percentage points. An automatic recount was initiated because to the slight discrepancy, but Frisch gave in before it was finished.
