Kate Bedingfield, the former director of communications for the White House, will reportedly join CNN as a political pundit, the network said on Friday.
Bedingfield will be headquartered in the capital, where she will offer political commentary live on TV. In her prior roles as deputy campaign manager and communications director for the Biden-Harris 2020 campaign, Bedingfield has a long history of collaboration with President Joe Biden.

Bedingfield formerly held the position of vice president’s communications director during the Obama-Biden administration.
Ben LaBolt succeeded Bedingfield as White House chief of staff in February.
LaBolt, who has worked on three presidential campaigns before, is the first out homosexual White House communications director.
During the transition, he also provided nomination advice to the Biden-Harris team.
Jen Psaki, a former press secretary for the White House, made a comparable career change when she left her position in 2022 to work for MSNBC.
