Cops Called on Senator Ted Cruz During Airport Incident

Cops were called to diffuse a situation involving Republican Senator Ted Cruz (Texas) in an airport in Montana The Daily Mail reports.

Cruz was apparently upset and got into an argument with staff at the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport after he missed the check-in window for his flight and being told that re-booking options were limited due to spring break.

The incident got heated enough that public safety officers were asked to come deal with the unruly passenger.

The incident did not escalate any further and Cruz was able to rebook a flight to Washington DC.

Cruz was needed in Washington on Monday for the beginning of confirmation hearings for Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson as he is a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee.
