Trump Elected As Chairman of Kennedy Center Board

Following a vote by the board of directors of the Kennedy Center, President Trump has announced that he has been appointed to the role of chairman of the organization. This has been an extremely unusual step on Trump’s part, especially in comparison with the actions of former liberal presidents.

“It is a Great Honor to be Chairman of The Kennedy Center, especially with this amazing Board of Trustees,” Trump remarked on his Truth Social account on Wednesday.

“We will make The Kennedy Center a very special and exciting place!” he added.

Ben Folds, a musician, announced that he would be resigning from his position as musical advisor to the National Symphony Orchestra in light of the recent events that have taken place at the Kennedy Center at the same time President Trump posted on social media.

Following an unexpected declaration made by Trump the previous week, which stated that he would immediately remove many persons from the Board of Trustees, including the Chairman, who do not share our vision for a Golden Age in Arts and Culture, the election of a sitting president came about as a result of this announcement.

David Rubenstein, a billionaire philanthropist, was replaced as chairman of the board by the move to appoint himself chairman. The co-founder of the private equity firm Carlyle Group has connections to former Vice President Joe Biden, despite the fact that

Richard Grenell, who is Trump’s ambassador for special missions, was offered the position of interim executive director of the Kennedy Center, according to a statement made by Trump on Monday.
