Elon Musk, the billionaire entrepreneur and owner of X, announced late on Thursday that he would be attending the rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday.
This announcement was made just over three months after Trump was shot during a rally in the same location on July 13.
On Thursday, Trump shared a photo as a reminder of his previous announcement to return to Butler and to pay tribute to firefighter Corey Comperatore, who was shot and killed that day while attempting to protect his family from gunfire.
“BUTLER ON SATURDAY — HISTORIC!” Trump wrote on social media whil emaking the announcement.
