Jen Psaki, a former White House press secretary who is currently an MSNBC host, reportedly stated on Thursday that Kamala Harris is “charismatic” in the same way as Hillary Clinton.
During the network’s coverage of the Democratic National Convention, Psaki stated that Harris possesses a “magical charismatic quality in person.”
“So do a lot of politicians. People say that about Hillary Clinton, also true.” Psaki remarked.
During her 2016 presidential campaign, Clinton was specifically criticized for her lack of charisma.
Clinton was defeated in the 2016 election by former President Donald Trump, who secured victories in Florida, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, among other states.
On Thursday night, Harris accepted the Democratic nomination for president at the party’s convention in Chicago.
The vice president repeatedly disparaged her opponent, former President Donald Trump, during her speech.
“Fellow Americans, this election is not only the most important of our lives, it is one of the most important in the life of our nation. In many ways, Donald Trump is an unserious man. But the consequences of putting Donald Trump back in the White House are extremely serious,” Harris said.
