Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) blasted the UN as the “most antisemitic body on the planet” following the General Assembly’s reiteration of its demand for an end to hostilities between Israel and Hamas, the militant Palestinian organization.
Earlier this month, in a surprise strike, Hamas killed almost 1,400 Israelis, the majority of them civilians.
This led to the start of the conflict. Furthermore, the group kidnapped 200 or so persons.
Graham subtly compared the Hamas attacks to the Holocaust, the slaughter that claimed the lives of around 6 million Jews during World War II.
This tactic was also employed by certain Israeli officials to garner support amidst the regional strife.
Since then, at least 8,500 Palestinians have died as a result of retaliatory Israeli airstrikes and a ground invasion, including over 3,500 children.
In order to stop more civilian deaths in Gaza, the U.N. has been the most vocal advocate for a cease-fire in the fighting.
With 45 abstentions, the General Assembly’s resolution requesting a cease-fire was approved 120–14.
However, the United States voted against the proposal.
The United States has supported Israel in the conflict by promising the nation billions more in aid.

The UN wouldn’t even condemn Hamas as a terrorist organization! It is a fraud! Many of its members shouldn’t even be in the organization, since they promote terror, which is contrary to its charter.
