According to a poll released on Monday, former President Donald Trump increased his advantage over President Joe Biden in a head-to-head contest by 1 point and is currently leading Robert F. Kennedy Jr. by 6 points in a three-way race.
According to a Harvard CAPS/Harris poll, Trump is leading Biden 46% to 41% with 14% being unsure, up from 44% to 40% in September.
In a three-way contest where Kennedy received 19% of the vote, Trump received 39% of the vote against Biden’s 33%, with 9% of the electorate still undecided.
In a four-way race including Kennedy and Cornel West, who received 3% support, the former president’s lead over Biden grows by 2 points, according to the poll.
With 39%, 31%, and 31% of the independent vote, respectively, Trump is ahead of the competition in a head-to-head contest, a three-way race, and a four-way race.
Another poll done on Monday by USA Today/Suffolk University found that Trump and Biden would both receive 41% of the vote in a rematch in 2024, but Kennedy would lose by 1 point with 14% of the vote.
With West’s support, Trump has a better chance of defeating Biden (41% to 39% to 7%), and in a race with both third-party candidates, Trump and Biden are tied at 37%.
Between October 18 and October 19, 2,116 eligible voters were surveyed by the Harvard CAPS/Harris poll, which has a margin of error of plus or minus 2%.
