Former Fox News reporter Jim Angle is dead.
The personality died at home on Wednesday the cause of death remains unknown.Angle was a senior White House correspondent for the network when he joined in 1996 and famously covered Bill Clinton’s re-election and impeachment trial.
Angle was promoted to chief national correspondent in 2011 and retired altogether in 2014.
He previously worked for ABC’s “World News Tonight,” “Nightline,” and “Good Morning America,” and anchored NPR’s “Marketplace.”
Fox New media CEO Suzanne Scott said in a statement, “Jim was a FOX News original and a top Washington correspondent whose talent and fearless reporting was unmatched. He was a central figure to establishing our Washington bureau in 1996 and was beloved across the entire network for his down-to-earth easygoing demeanor, his kindness and a smile that was ever present. He will be greatly missed, and we extend our heartfelt condolences to his entire family.”
