Governor Jared Polis of Colorado, a Democrat, was praised by Vivek Ramaswamy, the co-head of the newly established “Department of Government Efficiency” (DOGE), for repealing 208 executive regulations after he repealed them on Thursday.
“Nice work, @GovofCO. Send that shredder over to DOGE next month,” he wrote on his X account.
In his new position, Ramaswamy will be responsible for reducing unnecessary spending and cutting back on measures that are counterproductive for the federal government.
He will most likely, in conjunction with Elon Musk, identify outmoded rules and legislation that have a negative effect on the citizens of the United States of America that therefore need to be eliminated.

In recent months, DOGE has piqued the interest of many who advocate for a politics perspective that prioritizes economics.
An overlap between portions of the left and right has been demonstrated to exist as a result of this aroused interest in decreasing excessive government expenditure and regulation, which many experts believe are onerous.
This overlap has the potential to lead to surprising political team ups in the future, particularly during the reign of the incoming Trump administration.
