Trump Reveals Pick for Surgeon General

President-elect Donald Trump has now made the announcement that he has chosen Dr. Janette Nesheiwat to serve as the next Surgeon General of the United States of America during his next administration.

“Dr. Nesheiwat is a double board-certified Medical Doctor with an unwavering commitment to saving and treating thousands of American lives,” Trump announced in a new statement.

Trump continued, saying that she “is a fierce advocate and strong communicator for preventive medicine and public health” who “is committed to ensuring that Americans have access to affordable, quality healthcare, and believes in empowering individuals to take charge of their health to live longer, healthier lives.”

According to a statement made by the Trump transition team, the now 44-year-old individual was brought up by a mother who was an immigrant and a nurse.

Although she was born in New York, she received her degree in Biology from South Florida University in the year 2000.

She attended medical school in the Caribbean after completing her training with the United States Army Reserve Officer Training Corps, and then she went on to complete her residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences to complete her training.

Her response was that she was “deeply honored and humbled” to be nominated for the role, and she expressed her gratitude for the opportunity.

I am deeply honored and humbled by this nomination to serve as Surgeon General of the United States. Thank you, Mr. President, for your trust. I pledge to work tirelessly to promote health, inspire hope, and serve our nation with dedication and compassion @realDonaldTrump ” she wrote.
