New Poll Shows Harris Only Leading Trump by Slim Margin in PA

According to a survey released on Thursday, Vice President Harris is currently leading former President Trump by 2 percentage points in Pennsylvania.

According to a Center for Working Class Politics/YouGov poll published by Jacobin magazine, Harris maintains a 2.1-point advantage over her opponent in Pennsylvania, with 46.8 percent to 44.7 percent of registered voters. 3 percent supported an alternative candidate, while approximately 5.5 percent were undecided.

The lead is within the margin of error of the poll.

In the head-to-head match-up with Trump, the vice president’s margin was slightly larger, with 51.3 percent to the ex-president’s 48.7 percent.

The Democratic nominee achieved a 15-point advantage among voters earning less than $30,000 annually, with 53.3 percent of the vote to Trump’s 38.3 percent.

Trump has a slight advantage over Harris among electors earning between $30,000 and $60,000, with 44.9 percent to Harris’s 44.3 percent.

Additionally, he is ahead by over 4 points among those earning $60,000 to $100,000, with 49.9 percent to 45.3 percent.

Among individuals earning $100,000 to $200,000, Harris was more than 2 points ahead of the former president, earning 47.6 percent to the former president’s 45.6 percent.

Manual laborers supported Trump over Harris, with a ratio of 55.9 percent to 36.2 percent. Harris maintained a 47.7 percent advantage over 42 percent among clerical and service workers.

The vice president maintained a 2.4-point advantage over professionals, with a total of 47.3 percent to 44.9 percent. Among business proprietors and managers, both White House contenders were tied with 46.4 percent each.

The survey was administered to 1,000 Pennsylvania residents between September 24 and October 2. The margin of error is 4.19 percentage points.
