Vice President Harris reportedly participated in a conversation on abortion with popular host Alex Cooper on her renowned “Call Her Daddy” podcast.
The campaign did not specify the day, but the episode is scheduled to air next week.
She reportedly sat down for the popular podcast among young, female listeners on Tuesday.
The vice president has participated in additional podcasts and radio programs; however, she has faced criticism for the quantity of media interviews she has conducted.
She has been interviewed by CNN and MSNBC and has participated in a panel discussion with the National Association of Black Journalists since becoming the Democratic nominee for president.
The campaign referred to Cooper’s program as a cultural phenomenon, citing its millions of listeners and substantial social media presence.
Consequently, they regarded it as an ideal platform for discussing abortion access.
The campaign also stated that Harris’s appearance on it emphasizes the significance of engaging with younger audiences.
Cooper has become a ubiquitous name as a result of her affiliation with NBC for the network’s Olympics coverage in Paris this summer.
