Former President Donald Trump leads President Joe Biden by double digits in a national presidential contest, according to a new Rasmussen Reports study released Friday.
The poll shows Trump beating Biden by 10 points in a race that includes third-party candidates.
Trump has 46% support, followed by Biden (36%), independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (9%), independent candidate Cornel West (2%), and Green Party candidate Jill Stein (1%).
In a head-to-head contest, Trump leads Biden by nine points (49 percent to 40 percent).
The study, conducted on June 20 with 1,000 potential voters, has a ±3% margin of error.
That fact comes as the Biden White House is still unsettled by recordings depicting Biden’s apparent cognitive decline, several of which have gone viral.
While the Biden White House has asserted that the tapes are false, the Trump team has refuted those accusations.
