Mike Lindell, the proprietor of MyPillow, asserted this week that Fox News “cancelled” his company’s advertising on the network.
However, a source has now claimed that the advertisements for his bedding company have been suspended due to non-payment of its invoices.
A source with knowledge of the situation told the outlet Mediaite that unpaid invoices halted the partnership between Fox and MyPillow: Since August 2023, Lindell has not paid for any MyPillow advertisements that have aired on the network.
The source further stated that Lindell’s media agency was informed in detail of the circumstances.
The network sold over a billion dollars in advertisements last year, of which Lindell’s alleged unpaid bills are a negligible amount.
This demonstrates why he is alarmed and why the network has ample justification to suspend delinquent accounts.
Lindell, a notorious 2020 election conspiracy theorist who sells pillows and other bedding products, has squandered enormous sums of money attempting to establish that former President Donald Trump prevailed in the 2020 election.
A number of defamation suits filed against him by voting technology companies over his election fraud claims allege that he slandered them.
