53 percent of registered voters reportedly said in a recent Fox News survey that they believe Trump did something “illegal” in connection with his allegedly efforts to overturn the 2020 election.
With a sample size of 1,002 registered voters and a margin of error of 3%, the survey was conducted between August 11–13.
Additionally, according to the study released on Wednesday, 20% of registered voters believe Trump “did something wrong” but “not illegal.”
Trump was indicted for the fourth time on Monday in a case out of Fulton County, Georgia, concentrating on his attempts to change the results of the 2020 election.
According to a polling average, Trump is the front-runner in the campaign for the GOP presidential nomination in 2024. The former president is also dealing with legal issues on the federal and New York levels.
The same poll showed a decrease in respondents who believe the Department of Justice’s “treatment” of the former president “is politically motivated,” from 55% in June to 51% this month.
