Kid Rock Warns Michigan Voters About Democratic Senate Candidate Abdul El-Sayed During Fiery “Outnumbered” Appearance

Kid Rock did not hold back on Friday when he took aim at Michigan Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed during an appearance on Fox News’ “Outnumbered.”

The musician, whose real name is Robert Ritchie, is a supporter of the MAGA movement and a fellow Michigander. He used his time on the program to raise concerns about El-Sayed, calling the Michigan-born candidate “assimilated” and comparing him to terrorists, including those behind the 9/11 attacks and the Fort Hood shooter, who killed 13 people, 12 of them military service members. The comparison was made due to El-Sayed’s Muslim faith.

“I’m not even being funny. I believe he’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing. And here’s why,” Kid Rock said.

He questioned how El-Sayed’s religious ideology could be considered liberal, saying he would like the candidate to ask his constituents, especially those who share his faith, how they feel about abortion, gay marriage and women’s rights.

“I believe they’re using the Democratic Party to further their political agenda and their ideology,” he said.

Kid Rock acknowledged that El-Sayed presents himself well, noting that he speaks well, is a good-looking guy and has been afforded a lot of opportunities from this country, including a great education.

“But I would be very careful,” he warned. “Guess who else assimilated? The Fort Hood shooter. Guess who else assimilated? The pilots who flew airplanes into our World Trade Centers.”

He went on to argue that it is not just socialists and communists who want to get a foothold in the government, but this ideology as well.

Kid Rock also criticized El-Sayed’s message about the country, contrasting it with what he believes a candidate should be saying.

“And if he’s not out there saying, I love America, it’s the greatest country on Earth that provided me so many opportunities. He’s saying America’s a racist country and this, that, and the other, and all these negative things,” he said. “I don’t trust the man and we have to be very careful.”

Turning to the state of the race, Kid Rock described Michigan as “very divided” right now. However, he insisted that he has heard from lifelong Democrats who say they cannot bring themselves to support El-Sayed.

“It’s the purplest state in our union, as we know. But I know autoworkers, union guys, who are telling me, I just can’t vote for that El-Sayed, I just can’t do it,” he said. “These are lifelong Democrats. It’s the same feeling I get from a lot of my Black friends in Detroit. They’re not fans.”

Kid Rock also opened up about a dinner he attended the night before at the White House with Trump, Bill Maher and Stephen A. Smith. It marked the second such occasion for Kid Rock and Maher.

According to Kid Rock, the group discussed a number of issues over the course of the evening. He said he ended up leaving early after downing seven beers.
“I’m on like beer seven and I’m having a blast and trust me, this is the first time I have left a party early,” he said.
