Bill O’Reilly, a former anchor of Fox News, reportedly predicted on Wednesday that Republicans would attribute Hurricane Milton to President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, as “the truth doesn’t really matter anymore.”
“The Republicans are going to try to blame Biden for whatever happens, and by extension Kamala Harris. That’s what they’re gonna try to do.” O’Reilly told Newsnation host Chris Cuomo.
“On both sides, the truth doesn’t really matter anymore with the election three-and-a-half weeks away, so don’t expect any truth telling from anybody.” he added.
O’Reilly subsequently criticized Biden for presumably assigning Harris the responsibility of overseeing the hurricane response.
“So today the Biden White House announced that no longer will Joe Biden be in charge of the hurricane relief. Now it’s Kamala Harris who’s gonna call the shots. Okay, so that’s pretty unusual that a sitting president would go, ‘Ah, I don’t want to have anything to do with it. We’re gonna put the candidate, my vice president, in charge.’ Blatantly political. Okay, it happened.” O’Reilly concluded.
